It's so hard to just pick a few. ;) I love the dragon one especially, he looks so happy.

Re: Ty the Tank is Growing Up

Alright! We probably had them at the same hospital too (Bill and I live near each other - we just learned that a few weeks ago).

Re: Ty the Tank is Growing Up

Thanks Martin!

Re: Ty the Tank is Growing Up

Thanks Matt! Yeah, I don't ever think about that experience any more because Ty is so healthy now. They send us invitations to come to annual parties and stuff, but we don't do that either. Kind of like, once you're out, you don't want to go back. I like the helmet and tackling dummy idea, although I think I'm the dummy that he likes to tackle most!

Re: Ty the Tank is Growing Up

Man, I hope so! I'd love for him to play football!

Zane looks healthy to me, but don't you have a hard time putting on weight too?

Re: Ty the Tank is Growing Up

Thanks Jolly Green!

Re: Ty the Tank is Growing Up

Every time I pick him up, it's like I have to kiss his cheeks. But, if you're a biter, well, go for it! He may whack you with a toy though, so be careful!

Re: Ty the Tank is Growing Up

Thanks James!

Re: Ty the Tank is Growing Up

I don't know - he loves to wear them for months, even after Christmas. After he was a month old (near his actual due date), he was already over 10lbs. He's been in the 98+ percentile for weight and height ever since. Congratulations! And, Sorry! I bet you wish she would have come a week or two earlier!

Re: Ty the Tank is Growing Up

Happy Birthday Ty! My daughter Frankie spent a month-and-a-half in the NICU as well...not an experience we love to reflect back on, even though it is an important part of our lives. Its fantastic to see him doing so well...makes it easy to forget how it all started, doesn't it? Hope he has a great birthday. The head thing IS normal, Frankie did it for a while. Maybe, considering his stature, you should just get him a football helmet and tackling dummy from now and turn it into a positive! Missed the draft this year, but considering my team's (Rams) schedule this year, they'll probably have the first round pick next year, and will surely be looking for a hard hitting MLB, or maybe a strong blocking fullback.

Re: Ty the Tank is Growing Up

Happy Birthday Ty!

And wow, he does resemble a little linebacker. Perhaps a lucrative NFL contract will be in his future.

Zane is the opposite. Despite a healthy appetite, he's a skinny kid like I was.

Re: Ty the Tank is Growing Up

Very cute kid there!
