Happy Birthday little dude!!

How much did he weight when he was born? Curious cause Violet was 9lb 13oz and in my book that is one heck of a tank. :) (She was born one day before her estimated due date, so she gained a lot those last few weeks)

He only weighed 7lb 7oz, but he came about a month early. After he was a month old (near his actual due date), he was already over 10lbs. He's been in the 98+ percentile for weight and height ever since. Congratulations! And, Sorry! I bet you wish she would have come a week or two earlier!

Every time I pick him up, it's like I have to kiss his cheeks. But, if you're a biter, well, go for it! He may whack you with a toy though, so be careful!

Awesome...Happy birthday to Ty! My daughter Frankie spent a month-and-a-half in the NICU as well...not an experience we love to reflect back on, even though it is an important part of our lives. Its fantastic to see him doing so well...makes it easy to forget how it all started, doesn't it? Hope he has a great birthday. The head thing IS normal, Frankie did it for a while. Maybe, considering his stature, you should just get him a football helmet and tackling dummy from now and turn it into a positive! Missed the draft this year, but considering my team's (Rams) schedule this year, they'll probably have the first round pick next year, and will surely be looking for a hard hitting MLB, or maybe a strong blocking fullback.

Thanks Matt! Yeah, I don't ever think about that experience any more because Ty is so healthy now. They send us invitations to come to annual parties and stuff, but we don't do that either. Kind of like, once you're out, you don't want to go back. I like the helmet and tackling dummy idea, although I think I'm the dummy that he likes to tackle most!
