Discovering Dad: I Don't Know How I Survived Growing Up in GA

Weighing the options of allergy medicine or eight Raven games, I'd take the games too. I'd just settle for some over-the-counter Clariton. Thankfully, I don't have an allergy problem.

Dude, you're lucky! I miss the days of no allergies. Also, I'd give up just about anything for myself to go to Football games. There's just nothing like being there, especially for big games.

I'm allergic to pretty much everything...animals and outside stuff and all that jazz...toss in allergies to a few medications and one food that I know of (kiwi. weird.)...BUT I used to have to get a shot in each arm twice a week AND take extra stuff on top of that. Now, when it gets bad you might find me walking around with a roll of Charmin Ultra TP and a plastic bag (for trash)...but that's about it (and the occasional over the counter medication)...

But, I used to be INSANELY allergic to cats...and then I met Thomas as a kitten. And....I kinda brought him home. In the past 4 years, my allergies to cats has almost become nonexistent...so MAYBE since you lived there...your body got used to it??

You're probably right Ashley. I am still INSANELY allergic to cats, so you're fortunate as well to have gotten over that one. Lucky for me, I'm not allergic to my kids:-)

I used to have Visine on hand at all times. It wasn't because of the allergies though.

Allergies that don't kill you only make you stronger! The pollen and general crud in the air is terrible here in Memphis - it's probably no better in Atlanta. They don't call it the South for nothing.
