not too bad! You'll be good to go.

No entry from me this week. too much going on.
  • jnbammer · 1 year ago
I hope so - feel like things are moving very slowly, including my metabolism! Hope things calm down for you soon!

So, do you agree than that 90s rock stars were all, "oh, you don't want anything in my pants. all it brings is PAIN!"?

I think a few weeks and abut 15 pounds is totally doable. Now, get to work and stop eating bacon.
  • jnbammer · 1 year ago
I think '90s rock stars had too much grungey stuff in their pants, which probably caused rashes and all kinds of pain. Not a pleasant thought ;-)

Part 2 - thanks for the encouragement, and "Yes, drill sergeant!" ;-)

I thought you were going to say, "...only WITH the crowd of fat rednecks...". I'm glad you went the other way with that! I bet your family is too.
  • jnbammer · 1 year ago
I'm comfortable with the term redneck because it is a part of my heritage:-)

I love showing up at a kids party and then hearing the mom say, "You want something to drink? We have soda, juice...(dramatic pause)...beer..."
  • jnbammer · 1 year ago
    It's fine! Right?
  • TRACI · 1 year ago
if after a weekend binge you ONLY gained 2 pounds back-I say your rocking the party that rocks the party!
  • jnbammer · 1 year ago
Thanks Traci! I did resist most of the sweets, and I really tried to not overeat. It's hard not to "graze" at parties though!

Considering all the snacks and BEER, two lbs. isn't too bad.
  • jnbammer · 1 year ago
Thanks Jason. We had that new flavored Ultra stuff - it was pretty good and it must have not stuck to me.

Beer is A-OK. We had Frankie's second at the park, and we would have felt almost embarrassed if we HADN'T had beer. You must have been drinking light though....thats not as bad as I expected when reading your post. You can shred down really fast if you need to.
  • jnbammer · 1 year ago
Yeah, I'm hoping that my metabolism is finally shifting from snail to turtle pace. With any luck, I'll be up to sloth in a week.
  • Matt · 1 year ago
Sloths are pretty fast man. Too bad they took Ripped Fuel off the market (at least the real stuff). Probably almost gave me a heart attack, but man I would have looked good in that casket!
  • jnbammer · 1 year ago
I have been taking vitamins and the Mega-T Green Tea pills, but I probably just piss them out with all of the friggin' water I've been drinking.

Chillax...I like. I like it a lot! Hey, thanks for the good words. I won't say anything if you don't.

    Say what?

    Exactly.

    Hey, and thanks again.

    P. S. You don't even want to give anyone the THOUGHT that you're wearing a Speedo, so good plan. :)
  • jnbammer · 1 year ago
Thanks Christine! Say what? What are you talkin' bout? Exactly, right! Also, no Speedo's for me, ever...never....not even the fancy racin' kind....never! ;-)

Dude you must have been at Denny's when my family showed up. Good stuff!
  • jnbammer · 1 year ago
Funny! I haven't been to Denny's in a long time - too many times as a kid turned me off to it! Thanks for comin' over!
  • Jolly Green Dad · 1 year ago
